Honesty is the Best Policy!

With the release of Mori no Takuma-san chapters 16 and 17, volume 3 ends, but despite getting done with it relatively quickly, there's still a lot of work that goes into this series, as with any series. The volume ends with a short 4-koma chapter and a small afterword. Also, this is actually the 25th volume by Ayumi Komura we've completed over the past 6 years across 4 series, so it's a nice little milestone before the fourth volume comes out in late November.

Memories of the Past!

Moving right along, here are chapters 14 and 15 of Mori no Takuma-san, bringing us to more than halfway through the volume with a couple chapters left in volume 3.

Cuteness Can Be Deceiving!

Since we got done with our other projects a little earlier than we thought, we're back to more Mori no Takuma-san with chapters 12 and 13 at the start of volume 3.

The Moment of Lies!

Ookami Shounen volume 3 ends with chapter 17, which also includes some bonus 4-koma at the end of the volume. Currently, the manga is up to chapter 18.5 on Comic Clear's website. So, volume 4 could be released as early as March, but could easily come out a month or two later.

Also, there is certain detail in the bonus content that I should attempt to clarify. Botan says twice that she is in junior high, but we know from chapter 4 that she is one year younger than Tokujira, and thus also one year younger than Itsuki. However, the description for the manga on its website (which is also shown on the blurb on the back of volume 1) says that Itsuki's in high school, so they should all be in high school. The only way this makes sense is that they were supposed to originally have been in high school, but somewhere along the line, namo changed it to them being in junior high instead. Otherwise, Botan saying she's in junior high is a typo, but it's on two pages in the bonus content, making that less likely. So at this point, I don't know whether the characters are in junior high or high school.

For our other projects, Mizutama Honey Boy v05 and Shimanami Tasogare v02 come out in October, and we will be working on them as soon as they arrive. But in the meantime, we'll be working on Mori no Takuma-san v03.

There's No Place Like Home!

It took us only about two weeks of work, but here we are at the conclusion of Shounen Oujo volume 5 with chapter 31. As we mentioned before, this is currently the latest released chapter on Comic it's website until it restarts next month. There's really no way to know when volume 6 will be released. It could be as early as May or perhaps as late as August, but if they want to try to tie it in with the drama CDs released next year, there's probably a better chance of it being closer to May or maybe even April.

The drama CDs themselves are actually rather expensive. Altogether with the shipping, it would probably cost around $80 (to put this in perspective of what we already spend on volumes, this would be around 7 or 8 volumes with shipping), so we would like to release the drama CDs fully translated if we have the available funds to justify buying them.

That Magic Moment!

Here's Ookami Shounen chapter 16, which is pretty short, but at least there's still around 40 pages left to finish up the volume.

Also, there was a small grammatical typo in the last bubble at the end of chapter 12 which has now been corrected and reuploaded; you can replace the page with this:

All Aboard!

For our second release today, we have Shounen Oujo chapter 30, which only got done so quickly because it's so short. That leaves one more chapter left in the volume, but at least it's a pretty big chapter.

Now we come to Ookami Shounen chapter 15, the longest chapter in the volume.

There's More Than Just Love in the Air!

It's been a little over 7 months, but Ookami Shounen wa Kyou mo Uso o Kasaneru returns with chapters 12 and 13 at the start of volume 3. We've now been working on this series for about a year and a half, and thankfully because this series didn't go on hiatus, we can do more than one volume this year.

Oddly, this is now our third-oldest project from when we started working on it in early 2015, owing to a lot of our older series ending over the past year and a half, and most of the series we've picked up since then having already ended. We just hope that Ookami Shounen will continue for many volumes to come.

Yo-ho-ho, and a Bottle of Rum!

It's been a long, eight month wait, but Shounen Oujo returns with chapter 26 at the start of volume 5! And luckily, there hasn't been too much in the way of hiatuses with this series as of late, though currently the manga is taking a 4 month break that started back in June, so by the time we finish this volume, we'll be all caught up with the series until it restarts in October.

It's always great to go back to a series we've been working on for so long, almost 5 years now, though if you don't count that 2 year hiatus it had between 2013 and 2015, I guess it's more like 3 years. Shounen Oujo is now our second-oldest ongoing series, the oldest being Kuragehime, which itself has been plagued by hiatuses over the past 2 years or so (and is still on hiatus as of now, and will most likely not come back until next year). Shounen Oujo is one of our most-cherished series, and one we feel privileged to work on over all these years, even if it only amounts to one volume a year on average.

And in related news, those Shounen Oujo drama CDs are finally getting released next year: the first in January and the second in March. The first volume will be an adaptation of volume 1 in addition to an extra story focusing on Guy, and the second volume will adapt volume 2 in addition to an extra story focusing on Theo. We will see about releasing them.

Next up, Ookami Shounen.
