2011: A Jellyfish Odyssey


With the release of Kuragehime chapter 24, we are finished with volume 4! It seems just like yesterday that we started the volume, and even we're surprised we've been able to get it done as fast as we have, though that's partially because this is the only manga we're working on for the moment. This chapter also features the bonus 5-page afterword from the author at the end of the volume; it's pretty interesting as always. The chapter title comes from the 1977 film Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and you will see why after you read the chapter. Now off to start volume 5.

    Wouldn't the reference be to 2001: A Space Odyssey? Not that the plot has any real connection to that or Close Encounters.
