And now Kuragehime volume 14 comes to a close with chapters 74 and 74.5, which contains chapter 10 of Kuragehime Heroes and Higashimura's usual afterword. Wow, that was a fast volume for us, and although we loved getting the chapters out this quick, it also means that the wait returns for more chapters of Kuragehime. Currently, it's up to chapter 76 in
Kiss, so volume 15 should come out in February, which may or may not be the last volume. The chapter title comes from the 2013 movie
The Wolf of Wall Street.
Up next, the latest Himegoto.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much! As you said, that was quick. I'm going to miss this series now but I really enjoyed this volume. :)

ReplyDeleteThank you! It doesn't matter the volume is over, I loved the fact you translated it so quickly. Now I'll just have to wait for the next one. Kuragehime is so warm, I feel happy when I read it :) Thank you again!
ReplyDeleteI don't want it to end but I want the chapters out as soon as possible! xD Thank you so very much! :)
ReplyDeleteI luv Akiko Higashimura's works! So thank u a bunch for translating them!! *shoujo sparkling eyes and flowerly background*
ReplyDeleteP.S: If possible, can u translate her new manga 東京タラレバ娘 (Tokyo Tarareba-jō), please? I really want to read it! </3 T.T *flag: from a hopeless foreigner fujoshi!*
We'll be making that decision at least after both Kuragehime and Kakukaku Shikajika are done. Nothing is set in stone yet.
DeleteWait, Kuragehime would end in vol 15!? That would be too fast ._. Anyway, even though I'll be following this manga until the ending so...
ReplyDeleteThank you for brought us Kuragehime!
Thank you very much!!<3
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the super speedy release.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the light-speed releases! And now the wait begins again...
ReplyDeleteThanks SO much for releasing these so quickly! I hope it's not ending soon but I always thought it would finish once the mysteries of Kuranosuke's mom and Meijiro-sensei were explored.
ReplyDeleteI have a question if you know the answer, I would really love to know! How many works is Higashimura-sensei currently doing at once?
According to her page on Baka Updates, she has four ongoing series currently: Kuragehime, Kakukaku Shikajika, Tokyo Tarareba Musume, and Meropon Dashi!, although Tokyo Tarareba Musume is on hiatus until next year.
Deletethanks so much for your releases! i'm surprised to hear it might end on volume 15...it feels like so many things weren't addressed
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!! I really love kuragehime and enjoy each of the chapters you translate :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your releases! It's not just your speed that impresses me, but the sheer quality of your work. It's not easy translating the humour and emotional content of mangas like Kuragehime and Kakukaku Shikajika, and your work is of professional quality. I'm a huge fan, Hachimitsu Scans ;)
