Love is the Spice of Life!
Finally, after working on this volume for almost 2 months straight, we're done with Stop!! Hibari-kun! volume 2 with the release of chapters 33, 34 and 35. Luckily, we were able to just barely get this out before the end of February, and not a moment too soon, because we are taking this opportunity to take a short, month-long break from Hibari for the entire month of March. This is because we need to focus on some other projects we've been putting off, namely the next Bokura no Hentai volume and the last volume of Sweet Magic Syndrome. There is simply not enough time to do what we want to do in March and also work on Hibari, so we are not going to get to the third and final volume until April. So, thank you for understanding, and please enjoy the end of Hibari volume 2.
And as fate would have it, this is our 600th post on the blog and we're still going strong!

ReplyDeleteHi, I would like to say a big great thank you for translating this title. I really, really enjoy the story. But I'm confused. I look at wikipedia and it says about 4 volumes for this, but the raw scans are just 3??? Is it 3 or 4 volumes? Because I got to say, if it's really ends at 3rd volume, then it's a really underwhelming... :( I just found a treasure called "Stop!! Hibari-kun!" and ends "just" like that...
ReplyDeleteThe series has been published a number of different times in various formats over the years. Originally, it was published in 4 volumes, but the final edition we have condenses that to 3 by including more chapters per volume.
DeleteThank you for the reply. So it seems the ending pretty much the same... :( I was bummed because it just ends like that. Thank you again for the translation.
