I Went to the Woods Because I Wished to Live Deliberately
We said May, and here we are just in time to release chapter 23 of Love Allergen with the start of the final volume. Yes, the manga ended serialization in February, so there's only 7 chapters left. Hope you guys enjoy the rest of this great manga.

Jellyfish Obsession
All right, here's the bonus stuff from the end of volume 9, including a chapter of Kuragehime Heroes and the usual author's manga. As of right now, the 53rd chapter is about to be published in a couple of days in the magazine. This means that volume 10 probably won't come out until August or September, so stay tuned for more when we know the exact date.
In the meantime, we'll be working on an assortment of other stuff, though a priority will be put on Usotsuki Lily v07 and Love Allergen v04 which we will start next. The next issue of Waai will also be out in the next week, so expect more releases from that one too. As of now, the Josou Shounen stuff will probably be put on hold until after Usolily v07 and Love Allergen v04 are done, but we'll see.

About a Jellyfish
Here's chapter 49 of Kuragehime, the last main chapter from the volume, leaving 11 pages of bonus material to wrap up the volume until volume 10 comes out. The chapter title comes from the 2002 film About a Boy, based on the 1998 novel of the same name.
There's at least one thing that might need explaining, but it's probably pretty self-evident. When Shuu told Tsukimi "I like you" in the previous chapter, this is translated from "Suki desu" (好きです). Tsukimi then looks up homonyms of "suki" in this chapter to try to understand what he meant.

Love is Like a Jellyfish: Squishy
We got chapter 48 of Kuragehime done a little early this week; very little editing was probably the main reason. The chapter title comes from the 2004 documentary My Date with Drew.
And lastly, a note for pg. 23. The original text had Tsukimi calling the candles "rousoku" (ろうそく), the Japanese word for candle, so normally it'd just be translated as such. However, a note on the page uses the English transliteration of the word, "kyandoru" (キャンドル) to make a small joke. In the Japanese language, the nuance here is that "rousoku" are normal, every day candles, or those used in religious ceremonies. "Kyandoru" are more the kind used in chandeliers and candelabras (like those used for a dinner for two), and the word carries that kind of connotation. As it would make no sense in English to use the word candle for both instances, Tsukimi's "rousoku" is translated as "wax lights" to preserve the nuance that she was using a word that meant the same thing, but sounded odd in the given situation.
Prepare for another round of notes written here for the next chapter, as Higashimura does what she does best when it comes to word puns and misunderstandings in Japanese that are often untranslatable in English.

We Are Jellyfish, Hear Us...What Sound Does a Jellyfish Make?
Consistent with our weekly releases, here's chapter 47 of Kuragehime, and now we're halfway through the volume. The chapter title comes from in 1989 French film Monsieur Hire, titled Shitateya no Koi (The Tailor's Love) in Japan.

Is My Wig on Straight?
As promised, here's the third, and currently last, Zenryoku "Otome" one-shot from Josou Shounen v11 Grape Group. A 13th volume comes out at the end of this month, so maybe we'll see a continuation.
