Storming Her World with Sorrow's Wind and Rain!
At long last, we begin Nanashi no Asterism's fifth and final volume with chapter 19, although there is still a huge amount of content in this last volume, so we hope you enjoy this series all the way to the end.

It's Tough Being Cute!
Here's Seito Kaicho chapter 8.
And to Kuragehime fans, good news. The manga is coming back to Kiss in the June 25 issue, but it remains to be seen if it'll be on a monthly or a bimonthly schedule. Hopefully Higashimura has finally decided to finish it so we can end the series after 7 years of working on it.

Be Careful What You Drink!
Today we have Moyashimon chapters 26 and 27.
And in an unrelated note, there's some interesting news today for Kuragehime fans. Akiko Higashimura's Twitter account announced earlier today that her manga Tokyo Tarareba Musume running in Kiss is about to end in the next issue coming out later this month. Naturally, this is great news for us, because Higashimura had put Kuragehime (which also runs in Kiss) on hiatus so she could focus on TTM. So hopefully, Kuragehime will be coming back soon and then we can continue it later this year or early next year.
As for more recent updates, Lily v02 comes out on April 19, and Nanashi no Asterism's fifth and final volume comes out on April 22. In addition, Ataru Yamamoto's 1-volume sequel to Nisekoi Boyfriend comes out on April 10, so we're looking forward to working on that, even if it's just one volume. Beyond that, Shiomi-chan v02 comes out on May 12. And although we were hoping Ookami Shounen v04 would be out by May, it doesn't look like it anymore, but it should still be coming out relatively soon.

Love is All About Second Chances!
Today we are very excited to finally release the first chapter of Ayumi Komura's new series Kami-sama no Ekohiiki (Favoritism of the Gods), which just launched a couple of weeks ago in Margaret. As has been a tradition of ours, we have continued to release manga by Ayumi Komura because of her unique style, which tends to stray away from mainstream shoujo manga, but also because her manga Usotsuki Lily was the biggest reason why Hachimitsu Scans was formed back in 2010.
As such, we have already seen a few of Ayumi Komura's other series like Kenjutsu Komachi, Full Dozer and Mori no Takuma-san, plus a bunch of one-shots we've done of hers, most recently Alice in January. And although we were secretly hoping she would turn Alice into a series as she had done with Usolily, which also originally began as a one-shot, we were still committed to pick up Kami-sama no Ekohiiki to see what Ayumi Komura had in store for us next, and suffice it to say, we were not disappointed in the least. Because for the first time since the end of Usolily back in 2014, Ayumi Komura has decided to produce another gender bender series! So without further ado, the story of Kami-sama no Ekohiiki is as follows:
To gain the confidence to confess his love to his crush, high school student Yashiro visits a secluded shrine for 100 days straight. This earns him the attention of the enshrined deity and his fox attendant Ukon who follow Yashiro on the 100th day to see how the confession turns out. However, they are surprised to see him confess to a guy, Yashiro's longtime friend Kenta, only for Kenta to turn him down. Although heartbroken, Yashiro tries to joke around with Kenta, but he accidentally gets killed when a truck runs into him.
Yashiro awakens in the presence of the shrine's god and Ukon, and as a show of gratitude, the god decides to restore him back to life to give him a second chance with Kenta. In doing so, the god grants his wish to be reborn as a high school girl and gives her the name Kagura Tendou. However, she soon discovers that the god and Ukon plan to watch over her relationship with Kenta, although she's the only one who can see and hear them.
In all the years that we've been doing gender bender series, we've actually only done a magical genderswap once before when we did Hana wa Nisemono, although a large part of that has to do with either a certain manga not interesting us, or it being picked up by another group already, which from what we've seen tends to happen a lot as with series like Boku Girl or Shishunki Bitter Change. But now we finally get a chance to do a genderswap series from one of our favorite authors, so we couldn't be more pleased.
As we have done in the past, we are going to wait until the first volume is released to continue the series, which should be out by either July or August. So please check out chapter 1 for the start of another great series by Ayumi Komura.
