Happily Met, My Lady and My Wife!
Today we are doing something we've never done before: release something on Leap Day. We missed our chance to do it four years ago, but there was no missing it this year. And so, here are Hanayome wa Motodanshi chapters 7 and 8, leaving just one chapter left in the series.

If Music Be the Food of Love, Play On!
It took us a few days, but here are Hanayome wa Motodanshi chapters 3 and 4. This is by no means an easy manga to scanlate, but we'll gladly take up the challenge if it means doing a series like this, which generally are very few and far between.

Your Marriage Comes by Destiny!
Every so often, a series comes out that not only do we have to do, but we as a group were born to do, and this is undoubtedly one of those series. These are the first two chapters of Hanayome wa Motodanshi (The Bride Used to be a Guy) by Chii, a one-volume autobiography:
Chii and her husband are like any other happily married couple, except for one thing: Chii was assigned male at birth. Chii details her autobiographical account of growing up with gender dysphoria and ultimately deciding to transition in her early adult years. Shortly after Chii starts transitioning, she meets a man who is instantly enamored by her, and although he is surprised when Chii eventually tells him she used to live as a guy, he still wants to go out with her. As Chii continues to transition, her boyfriend supports her through the process, culminating in their marriage once her transition is complete.
Chii originally started blogging about her transition in early 2011 when she was in her mid-20s, and shortly thereafter began drawing 4-koma related to her experiences and LGBT topics in general. She also has a Twitter account, and draws a couple of other manga on comico. Although Hanayome wa Motodanshi does contain some 4-koma, most of it is in a regular manga format. Also, the first chapter is in glorious full color. So if you're ready for an incredibly cute story about love and acceptance, please check this one out.

Love and Cross-dressing Conquers All!
Finally, we come to the end of Shounen Princess with chapter 5, although we wish it would have been at least a little bit longer. We had a lot of fun working on it over the past couple of weeks, and it feels kind of weird to already come to the end when this series definitely deserved to be longer, and just when the story and characterization were starting to pick up, too. Thanks again to kubi for recommending us this series. Let it be said that while it may be rare, we do in fact accept requests on occasion.
As for some final thoughts, the very end of the volume contains a few pages that may indicate that the author, at least at one time, wanted to continue the series, but for whatever reason was never able to. This volume came out in June 2014, and obviously the author has never continued it, and it's very unlikely that it would ever happen. So, we hope you enjoyed this series as much as we did, and please look forward to our future projects.
