Feel free to put whatever word you like into the post title, because this is the final time for Otosuki with the release of chapter 14 and the end of volume 2. And the color image at the top was taken from Chikage Mitsukura's blog. It was fun working on this series, which just happened to coincide with most of the Olympics, since we started working on it a couple of days after it started, and ended it on the day of the closing ceremonies. Here's hoping that Tokyo win's their bid for the 2020 games.
To answer sage's question from last time, you've probably taken a look at our FAQ page, so you should already know our stance on distributing raws. That's why we put it in our FAQ.
Now onto upcoming releases. Usotsuki Lily will be returning in early September, probably right around when we get the raws of the next issue of Waai. After we're done with those releases, we'll be restarting Kuragehime and Shounen Oujo, most likely in early October. The delay on the latter two is due to the release date of Kuragehime v10 in mid-September and shipping time. Through the end of the year and beyond, we'll be peppering our releases with Josou Shounen continuations, including Kokuhaku, Zenryoku "Otome", Josou Debut, Boku no Koto Suki ni Natte, and others, including some new one-shots if we can.
With this, we finish yet another of our main series, and our second to be completed in the past month after the end of Love Allergen. You may be wondering if we're going to be picking up a new series to take their place, and all I'll say is that we already have a series in mind. It's very new, and just started it's serialization earlier this year, so look forward to it, whatever it may be. To be clear, it's not related to Waai or Oto Nyan, but it is a gender bender series.
We had received numerous requests via email for new series and to finish some old ones that got abandoned, but we have not accepted any offers to date. Our FAQ says it's doubtful that we'd accept a request, but of course it does not hurt to ask. However, please understand that our resources are limited, and we're usually able to get releases out quickly because of the number of series we work on concurrently, and of course, we must have a vested interest in any series we do.
We realize that since the re-death of 14BiQ Scans/WOW!scans last May, that again leaves us the sole trap-centric scanlation group (that I know of), which unfortunately leaves a lot of series undone and incomplete, but in the end, we do what we can for the promotion of gender bender manga, and maybe even hope to inspire other similar groups to pop up and compete for the hearts of trap lovers everywhere. A quick look at our earliest releases will tell you we had the most basic of knowledge of the scanlation process (we're still embarrassed about this little fiasco), but we have gained experience and in the end, let the quality of our (more recent) releases do the talking. So stay tuned for the next phase of Hachimitsu Scans.
