Family is Forever!

And so, with the release of Kyou Kara Yonshimai chapters 14 and 15, the series comes to a close. It was a short series, perhaps too short, but we had a lot of fun working on it so others can enjoy it too. The series certainly had its fair share of flaws, but for the most part, we feel it was a good little series that someone could read in probably an hour or two, but perhaps afterwards leave something in you about life and family. So we hope you enjoyed it as we say goodbye to our first series of 2015.

Sisters Have to Stick Together!

To celebrate the start of Kyou Kara Yonshimai's third and final volume, we are releasing chapters 11, 12 and 13, more than halfway through the volume, and leaving only two chapters left in the series. The great thing about this series is that the chapters are very easy to work on, so it won't be long until we finish it (hopefully by next week). We were very surprised to find out that the manga had ended in December, since we thought it was going to continue for at least two or three more volumes going by the end of volume two, but for whatever reason, it's only 15 chapters long. So for what it's worth, I hope you enjoy the last volume of this little series.

For the Good of the Family!

Finally, we've made it to the end of volume 2 of Kyou Kara Yonshimai with chapter 10. Currently, chapter 11 was published in Comic Birz last month, so we're basically all caught up for now. The earliest volume 3 will be released should be either January or February, so we'll be returning to this series come early next year.

The Proof is in the...Fried Chicken?

It took a little bit extra time, but here's Kyou Kara Yonshimai chapter 3, so we're finally more than halfway through the volume, one of the few benefits of having longer chapters. It also helps that this is a relatively easy manga to scanlate, so working on it is very enjoyable.

Life's Choices Bring New Opportunities!

It is with great joy that we are finally able to present the start of a brand new series: Kyou Kara Yonshimai written by Nanki Satou and illustrated by Akira Kizuki. And what's more, we already have the first two chapters done for your reading pleasure. The story centers around 16-year-old Sakura Manabe and her three siblings. Initially, Sakura is living with her 12-year-old sister Momiji and 27-year-old sister Botan, who works to support the three of them. Their 19-year-old brother Kashiwa has been away at college for two years and has suddenly decided to come back to live with them. However, when Kashiwa arrives, Sakura and the others discover that Kashiwa has now decided to live as a woman. Sakura and her two sisters now have to cope with the new reality of having another sister.

In our experience, it is very rare that we find manga that deal with transgender issues, and even rarer find them available to be scanlated, so we consider ourselves lucky to have found a manga like this, especially since it was more or less by chance, and it was only just recently brought to our attention. The manga started serialization in Comic Birz last October, and the first volume was released in March. But the good thing is that the second volume is just about to be released in about a month. So, we hope you enjoy Kyou Kara Yonshimai alongside Kakukaku Shikajika v04 which starts next.
