All right, so here are the last seven one-shots from the Himegoto Comic Anthology. Of note are two authors who contributed to Josou Shounen: Kinu Arikawa (the author of Made in Otome) and Emiri (the author of Josou Debut and a few other one-shots).

Our next release will be the latest chapter of Yuri na Watashi when it comes out in a few days.

Today we have one-shots numbered 4 through 8 in the Himegoto Comic Anthology, so we're over halfway through the volume, and hope to finish it up later this week if we can. Of note in this batch is #8, Niizuma x Otoko no Ko = Saikyou by Sakuya Yuuki, the author of the Kasukabe Koukou Josou-bu series from Josou Shounen.

We took a couple days off after finishing up Josou Shounen, but now we're moving on to another small project before we get really busy next month. These are the first three one-shots from the Himegoto Comic Anthology, a single volume that came out about a year ago containing 15 one-shots based on Himegoto. All of them are very short, and although some are better than others, we hope you enjoy a few more stories about these characters.

Cross-dressing Will Never Die!

Finally, the time has come to say goodbye to Himegoto for the last time with the extras from volume 6. Aside from the bonus illustrations at the end of the chapters, there's a small, 2-page afterword with a few of the author's final thoughts. The series has been a lot of fun, and we're looking forward to Norio Tsukudani's next manga, which will hopefully start soon.

In other news, we're finally going to start on Full Dozer volume 2, and we just found out today that the manga is set to end in the next issue of Margaret to be released on August 20th. So, the series will end up being three volumes long and we'll be finishing it up later this year as we eagerly anticipate news of Ayumi Komura's next work.

Cross-dressing: The One Addiction That's Good for You!

So, after working on this for the past few days, we're finally ready to re-release the first five volumes of Himegoto with all of the extra content within them. Aside from the outer and inner covers being the most obvious additions, there is an additional page included at the end of nearly every chapter showing a small illustration related to the chapter. For instance, for chapter 10 of the Waai edition at the beginning of volume 2, this page is added at the end:

Most of them are pretty funny, or add a few details not mentioned in the chapter itself. There are also alternative versions of the volume covers which are shown when the volume transitions from one serialization to another; unfortunately, they are in black and white. For instance, when volume 2 transitions from the Waai serialization to the Himegoto+ series, this page is shown:

Finally, volumes 2 and 5 feature some character profiles. The volume 2 version is pretty bare-boned, and contains some censorship from the author on some of the names because she wasn't ready to reveal them at the time, but there are some very interesting character details never revealed in the series itself. The volume 5 profiles in comparison are much more detailed and offer the full names of the 9 characters. Volume 2 is also the only volume to contain a short afterword manga, but every volume has a thank you page at the end featuring character sketches. So with that, we await the release of volume 6 in about 10 days so we can finally complete this series. Also, as a side-note, Hime's birthday is in a week (July 24).

A Cross-dressing Farewell!

It is with heavy hearts that today we have come to the last chapter of Himegoto with chapter 28 from the latest Comic Rex. In total, this brings the number of Himegoto chapters across four serializations to 60 chapters which ran for about 3 and a half years since late 2011. For a series originally released as a 4-koma in a niche quarterly magazine dedicated to traps, it is remarkable that Himegoto not only outlived Waai and Waai Mahalo, but also had a decent run in Comic Rex, and even Febri. A big shoutout also goes to NJMANGA of Deus Ex Scans for providing all of our Himegoto raws to date.

Seeing Norio Tsukudani's growth over the course of this series has been amazing, both thematically and stylistically, eventually developing it into a six volume series with memorable characters and beautiful art. Speaking of which, we are going to recompile the series with the volume extras hopefully starting this month, so that eventually there will be six volume batch downloads containing everything. So this may be the end in terms of the last chapter, but there is at least some more Himegoto material still to come. In the meantime, Tsukudani is still working on her next series, which could begin as early as August, but we'll have to wait and see.

Upcoming later this month, Bokura no Hentai volume 8 comes out in a couple weeks, and then Full Dozer volume 2 comes out at the end of the month. Next month will probably be when Boy Skirt's first volume finally appears, but we're not really sure, and we don't know why it's taking so long, either.

Today, the time has come to say goodbye to the Febri edition of Himegoto with chapter 7. The last serialized chapter of Himegoto will be in the next Comic Rex coming out in about a week, and then we'll get to the bonus content from the six volumes that make up the series.

We will be very sad to see it go, but Norio Tsukudani has already announced on Twitter that she has begun work on a new series, though we don't know at this time when its first chapter will appear. We will be on the lookout for it in the coming months.

And now for chapters 26 and 27 of Himegoto from the latest Comic Rex as we near the conclusion of the series at the end of this month. The last two serialized Himegoto chapters will be from the next issue of Febri that comes out on the 17th, and then finally the next issue of Rex on the 27th.

It's going to be really sad having to say goodbye to a series we've been working on for three and a half years and that as of these two chapters has 58 chapters, especially because we've become so attached to these characters and of course Norio Tsukudani's beautiful art, which has come a long way since those early releases. So we look forward to wrapping up this wonderful series, and we're eager to see what Tsukudani does after it's finished.

Cross-dress in the New Year!

This month, we have chapters 24 and 25 of Himegoto from Comic Rex, though both are pretty short. What also seems to be evident is that the series may be coming close to ending, and if so, it'll probably end sometime in the next 6 months. The next Himegoto will be in the next Rex at the end of May.

For our third release in three days, we have for you Himegoto chapters 20 and 21 from the recent Comic Rex. As is fairly usual, the chapters are rather short, but very cute. Incredibly, these mark the 50th and 51st chapters of Himegoto we've released over the past 3 years that we've been doing it. The next Himegoto will be from the next issue of Febri to be released in a couple of weeks. Now back to the rest of Kuragehime v15.

Also, we have an amazing figure to point out. Since August 2011, we've been accepting donations for buying the raws for the vast majority of manga we scanlate (currently, Himegoto is the only remaining exception to this, which is supplied by NJMANGA from Deus Ex Scans), and just today, thanks to so many of our generous readers (many of whom have donated multiple times even), we actually broke $1,000 to reach our current total of $1,050! So we can't thank everyone's who's donated enough over the past 3 and a half years to ease some of the financial issues that come with being a scanlation group where almost all of our raws are bought and scanned ourselves, which we believe not only guarantees high-quality raws, but also gives something back to the original authors, even if it's only a small amount. And also thank you to everyone else who hasn't donated, since everyone's continued support has largely helped to keep us alive over the past 4+ years. Cross-dressing Makes the World a Little Smaller!

As a surprise release and our last of 2014, here are chapters 18 and 19 of Himegoto from the recent Comic Rex. We didn't expect this to arrive until later this week, so we were surprised to see the raws for it arrive much sooner than we thought. The next Himegoto won't be out until late January, which will be the 50th Himegoto chapter we will have done.

Thus brings to an end 2014, for us anyway. This was a pretty big year for us. Himegoto got an anime; Usolily came to an end after four glorious years; we got a ton of the remaining Josou Shounen one-shots out; and we started a few new series (Kyou Kara Yonshimai, Full Dozer and Stop!! Hibari-kun!) as well as completing a few one-volume series (Oto Koi, Nisekoi Boyfriend and Kenjutsu Komachi) plus those one-shots by Ayumi Komura. However, we did also see the end of Waai and Waai Mahalo, though partially because of that, we were able to have a bit of extra time to do the stuff listed above.

Going into 2015, we can confirm that two of our current series will end next year: Sweet Magic Syndrome and Kakukaku Shikajika, both of which only have one volume left to do. It's also likely we'll complete Hibari-kun sometime next year, though we really have no idea when that will be at this point. Kuragehime also has a very likely possibility of ending sometime next year. And 2015 will also see the triumphant return of Shounen Oujo after nearly 2 years of being on hiatus. As for future projects, we'll just have to wait and see what happens, since nothing is set in stone until we actually release something.

So, have a wonderful rest of the year and a lovely new year's eve, and we'll see you all again in 2015 for another great year of gender-bending, cross-dressing, and traps (plus some non-gender bending manga, too, of course).

We had said before that Usolily was up next, but there are two big reasons why Himegoto got released first: it arrived slightly earlier than expected, and it's very short. Interestingly, this is the first time Himegoto has officially made it to chapter 17, since the original serialization in Waai ended at chapter 16. There's More Than Just Love in the Air!

It's the start of a new month, and that means more Himegoto with chapters 15 and 16. The next issue of Febri will be out later this month, so there will be another Himegoto chapter around mid-October. So did everyone enjoy the anime? Yes, it could have been longer, but it was still fun to see some of the situations in the manga animated. Maybe we'll be so lucky as to get a second season, and if so, it'd be a crime if they don't adapt the above two chapters.
