Never Say Never!

Over two years ago, we saw the end of both Waai! and its sister magazine Waai! Mahalo in early 2014, which unfortunately left a few of the series we had done from those magazines unfinished. We've always felt sorry about this, and the truth is, Waai has always been in the back of our minds, even if we've been putting off buying the remaining volumes because we'd only be getting one chapter in a whole volume. However, seeing as how we finished many of our long-running series over the past year, we felt that we had to finish up the rest of the Waai series to finally put them to rest.

And with that, today we have the final chapters of Hikaru to Hikari and Otasuke Miko Miko-chan. For Hikaru to Hikari, chapter 7 was included in volume 2 and the end of the volume also had some bonus content, which we hope will sort of make up for how long its been since we released chapter 6. On the other hand, the end of Otasuke Miko Miko-chan volume 2 did not have a proper chapter. Instead, it's simply a few pages tacked on to the end of chapter 10 and a two-page afterword. It would seem that Hiroichi wanted to continue the series beyond volume 2, but was never able to, hence it does not have a proper ending, not unlike how Shounen Princess ended earlier this year.

The only two other series we had left unfinished from Waai are Boku to Boku and Zettai Fukujuu Game, so please look forward to those next.

The Return of the Trap!

Today, we are very happy to present a double release in collaboration with Deus Ex Scans. The first is the fourth and final chapter of Boku no Geboku ni Nare! (and this time it's for real). We were very surprised to see that Assa was able to release a more definitive ending to the series instead of that train wreck from the last issue of Mahalo readers of the series will know about. This time, the ending is much more satisfying, so enjoy.

The second release is chapter 6 of Hikaru to Hikari, also surprisingly published in this issue of Waai. This is also the second-to-last chapter, and with Waai now suspended, it is possible that the last chapter may just be released in the series' second volume. We'll be on the lookout for it if that's the case.

Give Into Temptation!

Finally, here are the last two releases from Waai Mahalo, as joints with Deus Ex Scans, and both are one-shots. The first is Majo-san to Issho (Together with a Witch) by Kamaboko Red. A powerful, monster-slaying witch comes to a village where all the women have been abducted by a powerful monster living in the nearby forest. During her stay, the witch makes a young boy living in the village, who can also use magic, be her bodyguard.

The second is Boku ga Otouto to Nakayoku Naru Houhou (The Way I Get Closer to My Little Brother) by Shiki Kazutoki. Haruki used to be close with his younger brother Yuuki when they were younger, but they've since drifted apart. Haruki wants to use the chance of being alone with Yuuki to get on better terms with him, leading him to discover Yuuki's particular tastes.

"This" is the End!?

The second to last batch from Waai Mahalo, brought to you as joint projects with Deus Ex Scans, starts off with chapter 3 of Boku no Geboku ni Nare!, which according to the last page is the final chapter. However, it is clear that the manga was merely cancelled, and therefore does not have a definitive ending, but for what's it's worth, here's the last installment.

The second release is a 4-koma one-shot titled Hataraite Kudasai, Haruko-sensei! (Please Work, Ms. Haruko!) by Hyaku Fujishiro. Haruko Sakurai is inspired by reading a certain trap manga magazine to become a daycare teacher. On her first day on the job, she aims to reenact some of her favorite scenes from the magazine.

There are just two more one-shots left to do for Mahalo. In other news, we will be restarting Kuragehime very soon.

All right, so there's good news and bad news. The good news is that chapter 7 of Himegoto+ is done. The bad news is that it's the final chapter. In fact, most of the series in this issue of Waai Mahalo are ending (except for Hikaru to Hikari and Onna no Ko Play), so it is unknown at this time whether Mahalo will be continuing after this. If not, it's likely Hikaru to Hikari and Onna no Ko Play will get absorbed into Waai, unless they get canceled. But please enjoy this last installment of Himegoto+, and hey, at least there are two other Himegoto manga still ongoing.

Be Careful What You Wish For!

Here are the last two one-shots from this issue of Waai Mahalo, done as joints with Deus Ex Scans. The first is Present Koukan wa Kiken na Kaori...!? (Exchanging Presents Has a Dangerous Scent...!?) by Ayune Araragi, and combines the three yandere traps from the author's three previous one-shots Hatsukoi Lovers, Onii-chan Complex, and Houkago, 2-C no Kyoushitsu de.

The second is Ore ga xx de Model Debut!? (I'm Debuting as a xx Model!?) by Shiki Kazutoki. Koutarou Asama wants to be a model, and he's overjoyed when his older sister presents him with a modeling opportunity. However, he soon discovers that he's been scouted as a cross-dressing model.

You Cannot Escape!

These are the last two one-shots from the latest issue of Waai Mahalo, done in collaboration with Deus Ex Scans. The first is Houkago, 2-C no Kyoushitsu de (After School, in Classroom 2-C) by Ayune Araragi. As indicated on the cover page, it's the third in Araragi's yandere trap series after Hatsukoi Lovers and Onii-chan Complex. In it, Yuuto Sasaki is a trap who forces his homeroom teacher Sasaki Tsukimori to spend some quality time after school, which usually entails Sasaki playing a domineering role over Tsukimori.

The second one is Tsukimono! by Kamaboko Red. When elementary schooler Watanabe is cleaning out his late mother's belongings, he finds a skirt that talks and moves on its own. The skirt, which the mother never wore, wants him to wear it, soon followed by other articles of clothing that can also talk.

Resistance is Futile!

This is the other new series from Waai Mahalo we're doing with Deus Ex Scans, chapter 1 of Boku no Geboku ni Nare! (Be My Servant!) by Assa. Yukinari Takase is a huge masochist who instantly takes a liking to Rion Tachibana, a menacing trap who just transferred into his class. After Rion believes Takase has uncovered his secret, he decides to make Takase his servant in order to keep his mouth shut.

All the World's a Stage!

Here's one of the two new series from Waai Mahalo, again in collaboration with Deus Ex Scans. The one-shot Onna no Ko Play by Notari Himemosu we did before got a serialization. In the one-shot, Junichi Sasaki joins his school's drama club upon entering high school. However, he soon finds himself dressing up as a girl for his first stage performance. Despite this chapter being labeled chapter 1, it's a direct continuation of the one-shot, so we'll repost the link to it here.

As for the other two series that were supposed to be ongoing, Chuu x2 Trap and Porte Tricolore, neither were in this issue (and Chuu wasn't in the one before that, either), so they might have been canceled.

Positive Reinforcement Can do Wonderful Things!

Today we have one of the one-shots from Waai Mahalo. It's another installment of Tadashii Ace no Kouryakuhou? by Mitohi Matsumoto, but with different characters at another school. This one's a lot cuter than the previous one-shot. In it, Ayumu Tsumori is acting as the manager of his school's baseball team, and he borrows a book from his sister to help improve their chances in an upcoming match. Following the book's instructions, Ayumu starts cross-dressing for the team.
