Never Forget the Past and Onwards to the Future!

This is it. After nearly two and a half years of scanlating this manga, the final chapter of Past Future, chapter 11, is finished. Chapter 1 was our very first release, and what originally began as only us working on this single series from Waai eventually ballooned into us practically doing the entire issue every three months. It's going to feel kind of weird after this not seeing this series in every issue after working on it since day 1, but we're glad that we were able to bring it to you and to everyone who loves traps like we do. Hope you had a good time with the series as we add yet another series to our completed list.

(There seems to be some continuing issues with Gett, so we'll be going back to Mediafire for the time being.)

When Past and Future Collide

Chapter 10 of Past Future is done, a little quicker than expected. The series might end with the next chapter, as hinted on the last page of this chapter, but we'll know for sure early next year. Enjoy.

If Today is the Past, then the Future is Now

To start off December and our many Waai releases, here's the sixth chapter of Past Future. It's a nice little chapter, and I wish it wouldn't be another three months until the next chapter. On a related note, translation is done for Reversible chapter 7, and it's been handed off to Maigo, who will do most of the grunt work: cleaning, editing, typesetting, etc. It could be up to another two weeks or more until that's released however. In the mean time, more releases from Waai are on the way.

In semi-related news, we know what series are getting new installments in the latest Josou Shounen volume. They are: Kokuhaku (ch. 6), Restaurant Debut / Boku no Koto Suki ni Natte (ch. 3), Dousei Chuu! (ch. 2), Marmalade Boy (ch. 2), and of course the usual Josou Debut (ch. 5). It'll probably be a while before these get released, however.

Dream Not of the Past, but of the Future

Chapter 5 of Past Future is done, which marks the start of another 3 month wait until the next chapter comes out. Reversible ch. 6 is nearly done, by the way.

About the navigation buttons, we are aware of the problems with IE, and according to our stats, 12% of visitors to this blog use IE. We've tried to find solutions with little success, so in the meantime we'll go back to bare links.

A Diary is a Dangerous Thing!

Now for the moment all the Love Allergen fans have been waiting for, the first new translated material in over a year, Love Allergen chapter 4! It's a great chapter, and the manga continues to be a lot of fun, so readers won't be disappointed. With this, we're more than halfway through volume 1. As always, thanks to our readers and those who comment.

And now for something else that has been greatly anticipated: Past Future chapter 4, and this time with a couple color pages to boot. Sazanami Cherry chapter 5 will follow soon. As usual, these chapters are serialized in a quarterly magazine, so another chapter won't be released until October.

Another Cross-dressing Triple Feature!

As we had said sometime ago, these three releases mark the end of our hiatus, and we plan to get right back on track with our normal release schedule. First we would like to wish all of our readers a happy St. Patrick's Day and we are happy to present Usotsuki Lily chapter 16, and our two series from Waai: Sazanami Cherry chapter 4 (with two color pages) and chapter 3 of Past Future. As usual, the Waai series are joint releases with WOW!scans.

We would also like to thank all of our readers for the supportive comments you've given us following the announcement of what happened with Kuragehime. We are grateful that you enjoy our releases.

Cross-dressing Wars!

Our second back-to-back release, which also marks our 10th scanlation! Past Future ch. 2 is out, which is our first collaboration with WOW!scans. WOW took care of providing the raws and doing the cleaning, while we handled the translation, typesetting and quality check. This chapter is really, really cute, so prepare yourself!

We believe this to be a wonderful partnership, since we can release these chapters faster. In addition to Past Future, we will also be collaborating with WOW with the Waai series Sazanami Cherry (the first chapter of which was released by The Energy Trade) and the Oto Nyan series Otomegokoro no Jiyuugata about a boy who gets roped into joining an all-girl idol group. Thankfully, these shorter series are generally light on dialogue  (compared to Usotsuki Lily or Kuragehime) so they're much easier to finish.

Past Future pre-release

Hachimitsu Scans has their first release, and it's a pre-release! As a side-project, we've picked up the series Past Future, serialized in Ichijinsha's Waai trap magazine. See the project page for details and download link for the first chapter. There's only one chapter right now, since this one appeared in Waai vol. 2, released last July. The next chapter will be released with vol. 3 at the end of this month.

Also at the end of October, the publisher Million is releasing the first issue of their own trap manga magazine called Oto Nyan, which we plan to pick up. We'll probably be releasing a few series and one-shots from this magazine too, but both Waai and Oto Nyan are considered side-projects. The main focus will be on our main releases, which brings me to Usotsuki Lily.

We  received the raws for Usotsuki Lily and our other two manga today, so the first chapter of Usotsuki Lily should be released in the next day or two, which is when we'll be announcing our second main project.
