Is My Swimsuit Too Tight?

Finally, here's the bonus spin-off one-shot from the end of the volume. It's about one of Akira's classmates, Kaoru Kikkawa, who becomes the manager for the girl's swimming club and has to dress the part, too. It's a cute little one-shot, but like Otomegokoro, it really deserves more. With that, we've completed our third series.

Next up, we'll be getting back to those Josou Shounen one-shots that have been on the backburner for a while. In case anyone asks, we still have yet to get the volume with the raw with the next Zenryoku Otome installment. In related new, the 12th volume, Banana Group, came out, so we'll find out soon what's in it, though we probably won't have it for a couple months.

Are You Ready!! I'm Lady!!

After a long hiatus, today we have Otomegokoro no Jiyuugata chapter 3, the sole Oto Nyan serial we're doing. We were still planning on doing it after all this time, but just didn't have the raws to finish it up until just recently due in part to WOW!scans dying last year. There's only one volume in the series, so it won't take long until we're done with it finally. A big thanks goes to the raw provider NJMANGA.

Now some notes about the release. Each chapter in the volume has an extra couple of pages detailing some of the author's notes. As we're not redoing the first two chapters, we included the extra pages from those chapters in this release at the end. The volume's cover is also included, along with a single color page featuring Akira.

And then there's the issue with the title which was a little unexpected. 自由形 is normally read as jiyuugata, which means freestyle, as in freestyle swimming. For some reason, this is written as jiyukei on the volume cover and some of the bonus pages, so the official title is Otomegokoro no Jiyukei. For consistency, we'll stick with jiyuugata based on how 自由形 is normally read.

A Cross-dressing Surprise!

We know this may come as a surprise, but we found some free time and just decided to release these three all at the same time. We aren't officially off of our hiatus, though, so our usual two chapters a week schedule won't fully return until after St. Patrick's Day most likely. With that said, we have Usotsuki Lily chapter 15, Kuragehime chapter 16, and Otomegokoro no Jiyuugata chapter 2!

As you probably already know, another scanlation group, The Black Abyss, picked up Kuragehime from chapter 20, where the manga begins deviating from where the anime left off, and have also released chapter 21 thus far. What happened is that they didn't want to wait for us to release the later chapters that the anime didn't adapt, and since we couldn't stop them, there was nothing we could do. As such, while we never originally intended to hand Kuragehime over to another group, as we still love the manga and working on it too, there is not much point in releasing chapters that have already been translated. And anyway, our reason for scanlating the manga was to bring this wonderful manga to many more people. As long as the scanlation continues in some form, that's what counts. If, for whatever reason, The Black Abyss drops the manga, we'll continue the scanlation. So, for at least three more chapters, we'll be doing Kuragehime. When we release Kuragehime chapter 19, we will announce what new manga we'll begin scanlating in its place.

And now for some last bits. For Kuragehime chapter 16, it comes to the end of episode 8 in the anime, and the chapter title's origin should be obvious. The fourth volume of Waai came out, so we hope to soon release the latest chapters of Sazanami Cherry and Past Future as soon as we can. Sazanami Cherry even has two color pages this time, so please look forward to it! The next Oto Nyan volume won't be released until late April.

Cross-dressing Dates and Trap Idols!

Starting off the new year, how was everyone's holiday break? After our two and a half week hiatus, we are proud to release the next chapter of Usotsuki Lily, chapter 8! There's a lot of stuff going on in this chapter, especially since the real story doesn't start until 6 pages in, but you'll see what I mean. It would have been great had we got this, and the next chapter, out before Christmas since both have Christmas themes, but it couldn't be helped.

Now on to our next release. To make up for our hiatus, we're also releasing the first chapter of Otomegokoro no Jiyuugata, a series serialized in Oto Nyan that we mentioned before. This is our third joint project with WOW!scans, and our first series from Oto Nyan. The story centers around Akira Kobayakawa, a boy who joins a female idol group called Oyanko Sisters as a favor for his younger sister. The second volume of Oto Nyan comes out on January 25. Also, the fourth volume of Waai comes out in late February.
