And this is that little sister one-shot that was in the Boku no Koto Suki ni Natte volume, featuring Hirokazu's little sister, but Tsubasa also makes an appearance. And that's it for the series. It was fun and nostalgic to revisit it after all these years, and now I can finally put this series to bed.

The Sweet Smell of Love!

Many years ago, I worked on a series of anthologies featuring crossdressers called the Josou Shounen anthologies. One of the series published in those anthologies was called Boku no Koto Suki ni Natte by Naya Minadori, which had 5 installments under that title, in addition to a separate one-shot under the title Restaurendezvous, totaling 6 chapters in all. There was never anything else released for the series in the Josou Shounen anthologies, but the chapters were later compiled and sold in a single volume back in 2013, but I never got hold of the raws for it, so the additional content in the volume was left unscanlated for about 7 years until today.

The reason why is because someone contacted me about the series some time ago, and through them, they were able to provide me with the additional raws that were exclusive to the volume. So this release is chapter 7 of that volume, which was effectively the end of the story, since the only other content in the volume was a short one-shot featuring the main character's sister that had been published in a different, little sister-themed anthology. Overall, it was a pretty cute series, and one of the few to actually get more than one or two installments in Josou Shounen, so it was well worth working on it even after all these years.

At the End of Cross-dressing is...More Cross-dressing!

After a few days of some tedious work, we are proud to present the last bit of all 17 volumes of Josou Shounen. So after a little over 4 years, 17 volumes, 61 authors and 142 one-shots, we can finally put this series to rest.

We've had a lot of good times with this series, and we leave it with a lot of fond memories from the various series that it contained like Zenryoku Otome, Kokuhaku, Josou Debut, and Boku no Koto Suki ni Natte, among others; and also a lot of the single one-shots that really deserved more installments (like Mezame no Ippo? by Miyuki Nakayama from v08 Melon Group, or Sensei to Boku to. by Kira Nakamura from v12 Banana Group, among so many others, just to name a couple that really stood out).

Speaking of things that stood out, many of the volume covers were very nice, particularly volumes 9 and 16 shown above by Cuteg and Tomoki Matsumoto. But it had a good, long run, and for a series we had thought would end around volume 10, it now ends as one of our all-time longest projects. Granted, not every single one-shot in this series was memorable, but at least we can say that we finished it. We learned a lot from doing manga by so many different authors with so many different styles, and there are definitely some of those authors we would love to see more of in the future. But for now, we'll say so long to Josou Shounen, and maybe Ichijinsha will start up the series again someday. Only time will tell.

Cross-dressing is an Art!

This is it. After over four years of on again off again work on the Josou Shounen anthologies, and after 11 more volumes being released after we started working on it, these are the last three one-shots from the 17 currently released volumes. Whether there will be any more volumes is up in the air, but seeing as how volumes 16 and 17 came out as a surprise about a year and a half after volume 15, it's at least possible there may be more in the future. All three of these last one-shots are by Tsubomi Fuwano.

The first two are the two installments of Drag Rock Queen. Ijuuin, the vocalist of the popular rock back INz, secretly likes to cross-dress, and he gets the idea to use his band as an excuse to cross-dress in public. The first chapter is from v13 Plum Group and the second chapter is from v14 Watermelon Group.

The last one is Ichijin Koukou Engekibu no Kaijin from v15 Ribbon Group. The president of Ichijin High School's drama club fully embraces a mistake on a new script for an upcoming competition which lists him playing the lead girl.

Now that all the one-shots are done, we can finally get around to doing something we've always put off, but have been wanting to do for a long time now. Namely, we're going to recompile all 17 volumes with the covers, table of contents, and a bonus color illustration placed at the start of every volume. Only then can we really say we've completed this series.

In other news, here's what's upcoming starting next month. Mizutama Honey Boy v03 will be released in early October, and we'll be working on it right after it's released. Later on, the first volume of Boy Skirt finally comes out on October 19, and then the next day the first chapter of Ayumi Komura's new series comes out, and as we did with Full Dozer at the end of last year, we'll be releasing the first chapter from the magazine shortly thereafter. A few days later, the third and last volume of Full Dozer comes out, quickly followed by Bokura no Hentai v09 and the second and last volume of Sakura no Sono a couple weeks later. Lastly, although it has not yet been revealed when Norio Tsukudani's new series will begin, it will probably start before the end of this year, most likely either late October or November, and we'll be working on it monthly as we did with Himegoto.

Everything else is left to speculation, including when Kuragehime v16, Shounen Oujo v04, and Ookami Shounen v02 come out, although all three should probably be out by early next year, we think.

The Magic of Cross-dressing!

Today we have three more one-shots from Josou Shounen. The first one is Manou Senshi Lovely Berry by Shioji Urase. When Kaoru's childhood friend Yuri comes to him looking for a stand-in to play the villain in an upcoming hero show, Kaoru gladly accepts, until he discovers that the villain's costume is for a girl. This is from v06 Cherry Blossom Group, and is the last one from that volume.

The next two are both by Tsubomi Fuwano, and although they have different titles, they share some of the characters featured in Otoko Michi, so although these aren't exactly sequels to that series, they have the same setting. The first one is Otoko no Ko Crisis from v10 Satsuma Group, and is the last one from that volume. When Marilyn, one half of the popular idol unit Crysis, comes by Ichijinsha with a problem, Hizumi Uwano offers to help her out. The second one is Yuri Joou to Josou Shounen from v11 Grape Group, and is the last one from that volume. Disguised as a girl, Hizumi Uwano offers to fill in for one of Elizabeth Yuriko's assistants to finish up a chapter in time.

So there's just three one-shots left and they're all by Tsubomi Fuwano. It's hard to believe, but we're almost done with Josou Shounen after all this time.

Make Love, Not War...by Cross-dressing!

Like last time, this batch contains four more one-shots from Josou Shounen. The first two are the two installments of Shinin Gakudan Otohime by Kousuke Kurose. Second lieutenant Ren Narumi is transferred to a new military unit where he is to be the vocalist for the girls band Sound Princess, whose mission is to combat supernatural creatures known as "banshees". The first chapter is from v02 Peach Group and the second chapter is from v03 Princess Group.

The third one-shot is Otouto Jiman Sasete Kudasai by Reiichi. Anri Iwasaki is obsessed with taking pictures of her cute little brother Tomo. To help him get over his shyness for an upcoming school presentation, she suggests he work at a local maid cafe. This is from v02 Peach Group and is the final one from that volume.

The last one is Welcome Back by Saa. Torajirou is overjoyed when the girl he liked as a kid, Tatsuki Hayama, transfers into his class. However, he soon discovers that Tatsuki is actually a guy. This is from v03 Princess Group and is the final one from that volume.

And so the running count has 11 of 17 volumes complete with just 6 one-shots left, one each from volumes 6, 10, 11, 13, 14 and 15. And what's more, 5 of those are by Tsubomi Fuwano, the author of Otoko Michi, by far the strangest of all the authors from Josou Shounen.

Don't Underestimate Cross-dressing!

Today, we have four more Josou Shounen one-shots from a couple of authors. The first one-shot is *Little Big Sister* by Haruka Ogataya (the author of Potemayo). Mizuna is constantly annoyed by his older sister Natsume who often gets in the way of his studying. When he's stuck on a math problem, Natsume suggests he take a break, leading to her dressing him up in one of her old outfits. This is from v01 White Group, and is the final one from that volume.

The next one is Sis+Love, also by Haruka Ogataya. Hanatarou Yamada applies for a job at the Yusuhara daycare center to get closer to Itsuki, a boy who works there who Hanatarou believes is a girl due to a chance encounter a few months before. This is from v11 Grape Group.

The last two are the two installments of Otoko Michi by Tsubomi Fuwano. However, although they share the same title, they're basically separate stories. For chapter 1, Tsubomi Fuwano gets an offer from his editor Aso to draw a cross-dressing manga. However, Aso is sorely disappointed at Tsubomi's lack of understanding when it comes to cross-dressing. This is from v04 Blue Group, and is the last one from that volume. For chapter 2, Hizumi Uwano decides to enter a cross-dressing contest for manga authors in an attempt to beat out another manga author, Jakiko Daigouin. This is from v07 Plum Group, and is the last one from that volume. One thing about Tsubomi Fuwano's manga is that they are very absurd and parody cross-dressing manga, so if you're into gag manga, these are for you.

And so, we've now completed 9 of 17 volumes, and have just 10 one-shots left to do.

Cross-dressing is a Way of Life!

In a year where many of our series have already ended, including Kyou Kara Yonshimai, Sweet Magic Syndrome, Kakukaku Shikajika, Stop!! Hibari-kun! and Himegoto, it seems only proper that one of our all-time oldest projects, Josou Shounen, which we've now been working on on-and-off for four years, also comes to an end this year. And so, we've gone back to the volumes we still hadn't finished and are attempting to finally get out all 142 one-shots from the series' 17 volumes (5 of which we've already completed). In our first batch release, we have six one-shots. There are 14 left to do.

The first three are called Hebiichigo to Watashi. by Seishirou Mori. Noriko Nikaidou creates her own doujinshi, and she often gets help from her childhood friend Harunosuke Tsubaki who enjoys wearing traditional Japanese clothing for women. The first one-shot is from v02 Peach Group, the second one is from v08 Melon Group (and is the last one-shot from that volume), and the third one is from v10 Satsuma Group.

The next one-shot is Boku to Okihanabi. and is also by Seishirou Mori. Kotegawa confides in his friend Mikajiri that he wants to try going out dressed as a girl instead of just doing it at home. Mikajiri decides to give his friend an incentive to do it. This one is from v13 Plum Group.

The next one is Fuwafuwa no Boku Dake ni Kirameku Hikari by Dangan. Daijirou Umehara enjoys dressing up as his alter ego "Umeko" and going to a local arcade to be fawned over by the boys there, but what he enjoys most is playing games with Mario, a boy who's about the same age as him. This one is from v03 Princess Group, and is one of the one-shots we're getting a little help with this time around by cleaner/redrawer AliceFireSteam who recently stopped by our IRC channel.

The last one from this batch is Binbou Tamanashi! by Tsun. Hajime borrows some money from a girl he knows named Kimura. In order to pay her back, Hajime agrees to do a part-time job for a hero show she found for him where he must dress up as a girl. This one is from v03 Princess Group, and is also one AliceFireSteam helped us out with.

Trust Your Instincts!

Rounding out Josou Shounen v17 Princess Apple Group are two last one-shots, meaning this is now the fifth volume we've completed. The first is Tsuiteru Ko to no Tsukiaikata (How to Date a Girl Who Has It Attached) by Hoppege. Chihiro is suddenly confessed to by her schoolmate Kaoru, only to later discover that Kaoru is actually a cross-dressing guy.

The second is Meguru Complex by Ondi. Meguru is a delinquent who would do anything for his twin sister Megumi. When Megumi gets a cold, Meguru impersonates her and goes to her school to see if her boyfriend Ooizumi is worthy of her.

Now for some news about what's coming up. First of all, the next issue of Febri comes out in a few days, so we'll be working on Himegoto again soon, followed about a week later by another Himegoto when Comic Rex's latest issue is released. Volume 3 of Sweet Magic Syndrome comes out on December 25th. Next month, Kuragehime volume 15 comes out on January 13th, and Kyou Kara Yonshimai volume 3 comes out on January 24th. Bokura no Hentai volume 7 will come out on February 13th.

You Are Who You Are!

And here are another two one-shots from Josou Shounen v17 Princess Apple Group. The first is Ojou-sama wa Otoko no Ko chapter 2, the last of the continuations from the volume.

The second is Josou no Hajimari (The Start of Cross-dressing) by Tokumaro. Mata is in the art club and he asks his friend Kondou to model for him because he heard he has some experience modeling. However, when Kondou shows up cross-dressing, he reveals that he has experience modeling as a crossplayer.

Next up, the long awaited start of the 17th and final volume of Usotsuki Lily!

You Can't Help Who or What You Love!

Here are the next two one-shots from Josou Shounen v17 Princess Apple Group. The first is Ai-chan Ganbarimasu! (Ai-chan Works Hard At It!) by Yuu Eichi, the author of the Pretty Swimmer one-shot from v01 White Group that we released back in July. Ai enjoys cross-dressing and loves all things cute, so when asked by his friend Takako to help out at her family's daycare center, he gladly accepts. However, he soon discovers that it's not as easy as he thought it would be.

The second one is Itsumo no Futari (The Usual Pair) by Yoshiko Tabuchi. Yuuka is a tall and boyish girl who's in love with her cross-dressing childhood friend Jun.

Dressing Up is Half the Fun!

Since we still have a little bit of time before the last Usolily volume or the next Himegoto chapter comes out, we'll be working on the one-shots from Josou Shounen v17, Princess Apple Group, since we only released the Himegoto extra chapter from it a while back, and as of now, it's the final volume, and we don't know if there will be any more. So, the first one is Misaki-chan to Azami-kun chapter 2, one of the few from this volume that are a continuation of a previous one-shot.

The second one is Kisekae Sensei (Dress-Up Teacher) by Masayu, the author of the previously-released Kawaii Iinchou from v16, Princess Strawberry Group. In Kisekae Sensei, a cram school teacher enjoys cross-dressing, and one of his students named Imoto discovers his secret when he goes outside while cross-dressing one day. In exchange for not telling anyone his secret, he agrees to be her dress-up doll.

Like a Fish Takes to Water!

Today we have a single one-shot from Josou Shounen v01 White Group, Pretty Swimmer by Yuu Eichi, and it's one of the few remaining ones (from volumes 1-15) that is 30+ pages long. Akane recently joined the swim club at his school, but since there aren't enough boys or girls in the club, it's about to be abolished. In hoping to save the swim club, the club's other two members Saya and Rika make Akane participate in the club as a girl.

Our next release will be Himegoto from Comic Rex when it arrives next week, and we'll be starting on Kakukaku Shikajika v04 shortly thereafter. In other news, as we had posted on our Twitter account, Utako Yukihiro is about to end her latest Uta no Prince-sama manga on August 22, so there's a good chance that Shounen Oujo will be returning in Sylph come either September or October, we hope. We'll do another update when we know when it's going to be. Of course, since we're going to be waiting for the release of volume 4, we'll still be waiting a while for that to come out, which we are guessing at this point will be sometime next spring sometime between April and June. Obviously, things could change.

Follow Your Heart!

It took a little bit extra time, but here are two Josou Shounen one-shots by Takemaru Yokoshima. The first is Anata ni Ai ni from v03 Princess Group. Sanaka Kawamata impersonates his older sister while she's sick at home so he can go to her school to talk to Minami Hanyuu, the girl he likes. The second installment, titled Anata to Issho ni, is from v05 Red Group, and is the last one from that volume, so we've now completed 4 of the 16 (soon to be 17) volumes.

And now for a small update. Next week, the new Himegoto chapter from Comic Rex arrives, and we'll also be starting on Kakukaku Shikajika v04. Later in August, we'll be working on Josou Shounen v17 and Bokura no Hentai v06. Kuragehime v14 is likely to come out in September, which should also be when we do Usolily v16.

All's Well That Ends Well!

Here are the last two one-shots from Josou Shounen v16 Princess Strawberry Group. Believe it or not, even after 110 individual releases, this is only the third volume we've done to completion, the others being v09 Apple Group and v12 Banana Group. And now with v17 Princess Apple Group coming out next month, there still so much more left to do.

The first is Kawaii Iinchou by Masayu. Suzuki, the chairman of the public morals committee, tells Satou that she has to abide by the school dress code. However, Satou doesn't see her accessories as such a big deal compared to Suzuki, who has started cross-dressing.

The second is Ookami-san no Iinari by Tama Tamasaki. Tsukine joins the drama club upon entering into high school, but is shocked when the president of the club hands him the lead role to the play they'll be performing at the upcoming cultural festival: Little Red Riding Hood.

The Art of Hiding in Plain Sight!

Nearing the end of Josou Shounen v16 Princess Strawberry Group, here are the next two one-shots from the volume. The first is Makeup no Kokoroe by Kaisanbutsu. Tsubaki Takamine wants to be a makeup artist like his parents, but to gain his father's approval, he has to attend an all-girl high school and hide his male identity for three years.

The second is Kakeru-kun wa Toraretai by Sorahiko Mizushima. Ricchan's childhood friend Kakeru enjoys cross-dressing and getting his picture taken, which causes him to get turned on. Ricchan tries to help him fix this. Fair warning, this one is borderline hentai, so we would recommend reading it with discretion.

Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice!

Now for the next two one-shots from Josou Shounen v16 Princess Strawberry Group. The first is Toaru P-tachi no Nichijou by Kazusa Yoneda, the author of Seitokai Satellite!, which we released almost exactly a year ago, oddly enough. Yuki enjoys writing girly pop songs and posting them online with the added help of his two older siblings–his sister Natsu and brother Haru. Yuki cross-dresses to better understand how a girl feels when writing the songs, but although Haru has no problems with this, Natsu would rather Yuki stopped cross-dressing. In regards to the title, the "P" stands for "producer".

The second is Ojou-sama wa Otoko no Ko by Ryuki. The son of an affluent family identifies as a girl, and one of the family's maids is tasked with discouraging this behavior.

Also, we are happy to announce that a 17th volume of Josou Shounen will be released at the beginning of August called Princess Apple Group (Hime Ringo-gumi).

If Cross-dressing Was Easy, Everyone Would Do It!

Here are two more one-shots from Josou Shounen v16 Princess Strawberry Group, both by authors we've seen before. The first is Misaki-chan to Azami-kun by Anri Sakano, the author of Kokuhaku. Mitsuki Mima is forced by his older sister Misaki to take her place at her school while she works on a doujinshi for Comiket. At the school, Mitsuki encounters the school idol, Azami Akatsuki.

The second is Narikiri Game by Mari Manishi, the author of Henshin! and Osananajimi Rival. When Mao inadvertently suggests to her friend Shinichi that he play a dating sim for girls, Shinichi cross-dresses to better get into the game's mood.

Here are the other two one-shots Kamaboko Red did for Josou Shounen (thus far at least). The first is He is my wife from v13 Plum Group. Per his ailing grandfather's request, Takahiko cross-dresses and the two go out into town, much to Takahiko's embarrassment. The second is Saraba Heibon no Hibi yo from v14 Watermelon Group. Hajime Mutou is suddenly abducted by aliens and forced to cross-dress for the aliens' delight.
