It's been a long, eight month wait, but Shounen Oujo returns with chapter 26 at the start of volume 5! And luckily, there hasn't been too much in the way of hiatuses with this series as of late, though currently the manga is taking a 4 month break that started back in June, so by the time we finish this volume, we'll be all caught up with the series until it restarts in October.
It's always great to go back to a series we've been working on for so long, almost 5 years now, though if you don't count that 2 year hiatus it had between 2013 and 2015, I guess it's more like 3 years. Shounen Oujo is now our second-oldest ongoing series, the oldest being Kuragehime, which itself has been plagued by hiatuses over the past 2 years or so (and is still on hiatus as of now, and will most likely not come back until next year). Shounen Oujo is one of our most-cherished series, and one we feel privileged to work on over all these years, even if it only amounts to one volume a year on average.
And in related news, those
Shounen Oujo drama CDs are finally getting released next year: the first in January and the second in March. The first volume will be an adaptation of volume 1 in addition to an extra story focusing on Guy, and the second volume will adapt volume 2 in addition to an extra story focusing on Theo. We will see about releasing them.
