After a few more days of work, here are chapters 19 and 20 of Kakukaku Shikajika, leaving one chapter left in the volume. There doesn't seem to be too many people reading this, at least not as much as some of the other series we scanlate, but hey, this is still a wonderful manga that we feel everyone should be reading, even if that's just us who feel that way.

ReplyDeleteI really like this series so thanks for scanning it and so quickly too!
ReplyDeletei love this series, the people not reading it are missing out
ReplyDeleteI think its absolutely great. It serves as an important reminder to how meandering the path to success can be.
ReplyDeleteIt's actually one of my newest favorite series. The author is pretty good at making things emotional way without relying on heavily used tropes and shock factor.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for translating this series, it's one of my favorites right now! ;_;
ReplyDeletethanks for translating this ^^. I love this series and kinda relate to it ^^.
ReplyDeleteAre you judging readership by the download numbers?
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised, at any rate. I think of all the series you translate, is probably the most relatable. Definitely the most personal. I love the others too, but, yeah, everyone should be reading this.
Thank you so much for the releases!
Download numbers are part of it, but there are various other factors and stats that seem to show either fewer people are reading it, or everyone is just being very quiet about it. Not that this effects our interest in doing the series. Thanks to everyone for the comments!
DeleteI think it is one of the best series that you translate!
ReplyDeletePlease keep translating it! It's one of my favorite manga, it's so relateable and inspired me to be a better artist.
ReplyDeletethanks for translating this it is one of the best slice of life manga I have read in awhile I can really relate to Higashimura's struggles with art and the art education system
ReplyDeleteThis is GORGEOUS, thanks for your translations!
ReplyDeleteUnrelated, but...
ReplyDeleteThe 止まれ road sign appears again at the end of chapter 19. I know it's just an accurate part of the scenery, but she's featured it prominently on the ch 4 title page too. I keep thinking she's going to make a point about it later.
thanks again for the release!
