At long last, after working on Ookami Shounen wa Kyou mo Uso o Kasaneru now for about 3 and a half years, we can officially complete the series with the updated releases of chapters 30, 31 and 32. Also included at the end of volume 5 is the bonus chapter previously released as chapter 26.5 and a one-page afterword, the only content truly new from this volume.
In terms of when we picked up the series, this was our second-oldest ongoing series after Shounen Oujo, and now that it's complete, Mizutama Honey Boy is now our second-oldest ongoing series, and the only one left that we started in 2015, which was also when we started Ookami Shounen. During that time, we've seen many projects come and go, but none quite like Ookami Shounen, and we are going to dearly miss this series as one of our all-time favorites. We're definitely interested in seeing what namo does next, though they still have yet to announce a new series.
So we hope you enjoyed the improvements to the last volume as we move yet another series to our completed page.

Thank you for your dedication and always scanlating stuff that normally other scanlation group won't do. I really hope Hachimitsu Scans can continue to scanlate gender-bender or crossdressing (traps) genre more than loyal to certain mangaka. Just my two cent but again, thank you for this awesome works. Keep it up.
ReplyDeleteThanks for finishing this off. This series was one of my favourites too. Been a while since the final chapter came out, hasn't it? I wonder what namo has been up to in the meantime... Huh. Not a lot, apparently. Not even a Micchan 4-koma spinoff to keep us entertained. Pity.
