A Trap is a Terrible Thing to Waste!

Welcome and thanks for dropping by. Two more one-shots coming your way, starting with Boy's be ambitious Girl! by Koroha Kiritomo. You may realize this title is ungrammatical, and has odd capitalization, but the title shown on the first page is unaltered from the raw (except for the removal of the furigana). It appeared in volume 1, White Group, and is about Yuuki, his school's idol and member of the drama club. He's roped into playing a girl for a play by his cousin Yayoi and he becomes very popular. A sequel appeared in volume 7, Plum Group, so look forward to that.

The second one-shot is Doppel! by Nariyuki Hazumi. Souta goes to his local fortune-teller to get some help, and she gives him a mysterious mirror. From it appears a copy of himself, his doppelganger, that wants to cross-dress. It's from volume 6, Cherry Blossom Group.

Young Trap Love!

A little faster update than usual, but that's because both of these one-shots are pretty short. The first is called Kawaii Ano Ko (That One Cute Kid) by Rikako Inomoto and it appeared in volume 1, White Group. Takuya is troubled because he finds his classmate Naoki cute. The second one is Hitomeboressu!! (Love At First Sight!!) by Benny's and it's from volume 2, Peach Group. Kei poses as his older sister to get back at his classmate Kyousuke for hogging the local park. Both of these have fairly strong BL themes, and they're very cute.

Moe Moe Trap Kyun!

The first one-shot we have today is Henshin! by Mari Manishi. Jun Amano is very shy but he's also very skilled with the guitar. His classmate Yuuko Amano finds out about his talent and wants him to play with her all-girl band for the school festival. It was in the fifth volume, Red Group.

The second one-shot is Kawaii Mune no Uchi by Akio Nanae, the same author as Girl Friend. Yuu is trying to learn how to act like a girl from his childhood friend Momo. It was in volume 3, Princess Group. Neither of these have sequel chapters as of yet.

There's finally some news on Kuragehime. The eighth volume comes out on September 13, but the earliest we'll probably be able to release the first chapter from it will be the beginning of October. We'll be releasing Kuragehime and Usotsuki Lily simultaneously as we did before, and we'll start on Love Allergen volume 3 after we finish one of them (Kuragehime usually gets done first because it has less chapters).

My Childhood Friend Can't Be This Cute!

These two one-shots are by Hiroyoshi Koutake. The first one is titled Futari no Ichiban Nagai Hi (The Longest Day of Those Two) and it appeared in volume 3, Princess Group. It's about how Ryuuji deals with his trap childhood friend Mizuki, who is very attached to him. There are some minor BL themes, but overall it's really cute. The second one-shot is titled Itsuka to Kyou no Kaerimichi (The Way Home on One Day and Today) and (despite having a different title) is the second installment of the first one-shot; it appeared in volume 4, Blue Group. The second one-shot is slightly longer than the first. Enjoy!

Last time, "just out of time" asked about the possibility of including links to download each Josou Shounen volume in the future. The thing is, we never intended to do all of the one-shots from these volumes, simply because some of them in each volume aren't worth scanlating. Honestly, we don't think you're missing anything from the one's we don't do. However, if we do scanlate the lesser interesting ones, it'll be a long while until they're all complete, since we'll be starting up our main projects again soon enough, and there's even a couple other things we have planned too for later this year.

Another person asked about news on Kuragehime. As we have stated on our Kuragehime page, it's on hold until the release of volume 8, but we still don't know when that volume is coming out. We think it'll be out in September, but when we confirm the release date, we'll update the Kuragehime page.

Girl Friends and Trap Maids!

Beginning with our August releases, we have two one shots from the fifth Josou Shounen anthology volume Red Group. The first one-shot we have for you is Girl Friend by Akio Nanae. It's about Haruki Fujino, a member of his school's disciplinary committee. He cross-dresses to lure out guys that hassle girls around his school, and helps the girls who get hassled.

The second one-shot is xx Maid Kissa by Emiri, the same author of Josou Debut, though this one's longer than that one. It's about Shou Kawai, a guy out looking for a job. He comes across the manager of the Trap Maid Cafe, where the manager wants him to work. As of yet, neither of these one-shots have sequel chapters, but you never know when one might appear. For example, a one-shot from the first Josou Shounen volume got a sequel in volume 7, and a one-shot from volume 2 got a sequel in volume 8. And, good news, Restaurant Debut got a prequel chapter in volume 7 (though it has a different title), so look forward to that.
