Today we have Kuragehime chapter 66 for you. The chapter title comes from the Japanese title for the 1996 film It's My Party.

Also, regarding the use of public raws which someone asked about last time, we would prefer to buy the raws when the volumes come out like we've always done. The quality of public raws is not always the best, and we do believe in supporting the authors of the manga we work on by buying their volumes. This is also one of the main reasons why we do not supply raws. So, thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

To Love and to Cherish!

Finally, after a lot of work, here's the last quarter of volume 13 of Usotsuki Lily! Included are two bonus chapters and the author's usual long afterword. The first bonus chapter has to do with how Hinata's parents met, and the second has to do with Rawr and Muff. Also, after you're done reading the bonus content, you may want to look into the Izumi crane migration.

So, thus ends our 14th volume of Usotsuki Lily. Looking back on all we've done for this series is almost surreal. If you look back at the end of volume 4 (chapter 27, page 33), one of the readers told Ayumi Komura to get Usolily to over 12 volumes, and I'll tell you, at the time we were doing that volume about 2 and a half years ago, it didn't seem like Usolily would get that far at all. This is also reminiscent of the end of volume 9 (chapter 58.5, page 29) where a reader said that if it gets to over 20 volumes, there'll be an anime. By about March, there will be enough chapters to fill up through volume 16, and with no real end in sight, it would not be surprising at all if this series really did get to 20 volumes or more in the end. Hopefully you'll stick around long enough to see. We know we will.

Regarding volume 14, which came out last week, there are a few other projects that have been waiting in our backlog that we would like to focus on first, but it won't be too long before we start on the volume. Maybe next month, but if not, definitely sometime in March. Usotsuki Lily is just about to celebrate its 100th chapter next month on February 20th, so there are still many more chapters and volumes to come.

One Jellyfish to Rule Them All!

 

 

Finally, after 4 and a half months of waiting, the moment has come to restart Kuragehime with chapter 65 at the start of volume 13! It's funny, because from our perspective, it seems just like yesterday we were doing volume 12. Here's a funny statistic. Since when we released chapter 64 to now, we've released more individual chapters of other manga than the total number of Kuragehime's chapters. The exact number, going by our Baka Updates listing, is 73 chapters from then until now. Anyway, please enjoy Kuragehime. The chapter title's origin speaks for itself this time.

As a side note, the subject of the jellyfish reproductive system may be of interest to some who read this chapter for one page where the sex of Clara comes up.

Give Into Temptation!

Finally, here are the last two releases from Waai Mahalo, as joints with Deus Ex Scans, and both are one-shots. The first is Majo-san to Issho (Together with a Witch) by Kamaboko Red. A powerful, monster-slaying witch comes to a village where all the women have been abducted by a powerful monster living in the nearby forest. During her stay, the witch makes a young boy living in the village, who can also use magic, be her bodyguard.

The second is Boku ga Otouto to Nakayoku Naru Houhou (The Way I Get Closer to My Little Brother) by Shiki Kazutoki. Haruki used to be close with his younger brother Yuuki when they were younger, but they've since drifted apart. Haruki wants to use the chance of being alone with Yuuki to get on better terms with him, leading him to discover Yuuki's particular tastes.

So here's chapter 84 of Usotsuki Lily, the last main chapter in the volume, leaving a whopping 50 or so pages of bonus content at the end of this volume; that's about 1/4 of the whole volume, by the way. Ayumi Komura never ceases to amaze.
