Box Jellyfish Attack!

So finally (although it's really not been that long), chapter 69 of Kuragehime is done, meaning the end of volume 13 and the author's usual afterword. The chapter title comes from the 1992 song "Heya to Y Shirt to Watashi" (A Room, Dress Shirt, and Me) by Eri Hiramatsu. As a side note, you may want to look at this article before reading the chapter.

So there you have it, 13 volumes of Kuragehime so far. The series does seem to be winding down somewhat, so there might only be a few more volumes left, though for all we know, it could go on for another 13 volumes. As for volume 14, it will probably come out in May, though we're probably not going to be working on it until June if that's the case. Currently, the manga is up to chapter 72 in the magazine.

Next up, we finally get back to Bokura no Hentai with volume 4. On an unrelated note, Shounen Oujo will celebrate its one-year long hiatus in Sylph magazine in about 10 days if it doesn't appear in the next issue. With Utako Yukihiro still serializing her Uta no Prince-sama - Maji Love 2000% manga as of the latest issue, it's not looking too good for Shounen Oujo fans.

  2. It's depressing that she's still working on Uta no Prince-sama but I'm sure she'll get back to Shounen Oujo when she's done.

The really depressing thing is that Makai Ouji's scanlations are going to end and Makai Ouji fans are gonna have to wait years to get to the point they've read up to now... OTL

    >"How long has it been since we last saw us? 20 years?"

How much further into the future does Kuragehime take place?

    Anyway, thanks for the chapter.
In my humble opinion, I think the end is nigh.

  8. Kakukaku Shikajika has gotten me too interested in Akiko's life. I thought the bonus was as, if not more, interesting as the actual chapter.

    1. We're still waiting for the release of volume 14. The series went on hiatus earlier this year, and it's about to come back in the magazine Kiss at the end of this month, so it'll be another 2-3 months before volume 14 comes out probably.
