The New Year has arrived, not only for us, but in Usotsuki Lily too in chapter 10! This was a nice chapter, but perhaps a little too short, and felt kinda rushed in the middle, but I guess that's just Ayumi Komura's style with this manga, at least right now.

Jellyfish Cocktails and Parfaits!

Suddenly, we were able to get Kuragehime chapter 10 out a little faster than expected! Personally, I loved this chapter; there were so many elements that made me crack up while translating it, so it was a lot of fun. If you've watched the anime, this goes to about the middle of episode 6.

The chapter title comes from the 1987 film Fatal Attraction. Last time, "Ammy" commented about these chapter title explanations and asked if we could include them in the chapters themselves. We did originally consider doing that, but decided against it in the end, since sometimes the explanations require more explanation than just a single line, and we thought that it would be easier to explain here on the blog than to clutter up the title page of each chapter. This is more or less purely for aesthetic purposes, so we would rather not include them in the chapters.

Finally, we would like to mention that this is our 25th release since starting this group. What a milestone, at least we think so. We look forward to providing our readers with more of the manga we all love.

A Cross-dressing Christmas!

That page says it all. This time, it really is Christmas in Usotsuki Lily chapter 9! This was a very nice chapter to work on, especially since it was shorter so we were able to get it out faster to all of you. This marks the middle of volume 2, and volume 3 should be arriving shortly, definitely before we finish work on volume 2.

Seven Jellyfish!

Getting back into the swing of things, chapter 9 of Kuragehime is done, corresponding to the end of episode 5 of the anime. Still a long way to go to be sure. The end of the anime was bittersweet, since there was no real conclusion and much of the story left to be adapted. Good thing the manga's still ongoing at least. This chapter also marks the middle of volume 2. The chapter title comes from Akira Kurosawa's famous 1954 film Seven Samurai.

Cross-dressing Dates and Trap Idols!

Starting off the new year, how was everyone's holiday break? After our two and a half week hiatus, we are proud to release the next chapter of Usotsuki Lily, chapter 8! There's a lot of stuff going on in this chapter, especially since the real story doesn't start until 6 pages in, but you'll see what I mean. It would have been great had we got this, and the next chapter, out before Christmas since both have Christmas themes, but it couldn't be helped.

Now on to our next release. To make up for our hiatus, we're also releasing the first chapter of Otomegokoro no Jiyuugata, a series serialized in Oto Nyan that we mentioned before. This is our third joint project with WOW!scans, and our first series from Oto Nyan. The story centers around Akira Kobayakawa, a boy who joins a female idol group called Oyanko Sisters as a favor for his younger sister. The second volume of Oto Nyan comes out on January 25. Also, the fourth volume of Waai comes out in late February.
